Do something different. Now in our 31st year, we've empowered over 12,000 students with new skills, new confidence, and new friendships. Read why teens & parents choose us.
No experience necessary. You’ll just need a will to learn, a desire to take on responsibility, a comfort level on the water, and a sense of adventure.
Visit great locations. Our programs cover two stunning island chains in the Caribbean region - the British Virgin Islands and the Leeward Islands.
Learn new things. Each program offers a range of activities and a unique focus:
•sailing •leadership training
•scuba diving •community service
•watersports •marine biology
•environmental studies •cultural exploration
Give something back. Community service is incorporated into every program.
Choose a trip to fit your schedule. Our programs range from 12 to 24 days and can be combined for extended summer excursions.
Experience life onboard. Students live onboard with a staff captain and mate aboard 47 to 50-foot monohulls or 43 to 47-foot catamarans and sail in fleets of 2-6 boats. Boats are coed and students are grouped by grade and age.
Your safety and health come first. Every staff member is certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR and participate in emergency training scenarios. Medical Officers are EMTs or Wildernesss First Responders. Safety is our focus and programs are always in contact with our base.
Learn from great instructors. Our overall student-to-staff ratio is 4:1. Our staff members are selected from an applicant pool of the most experienced, committed, and capable instructors and mentors anywhere.
Dive with experts. We are the only teen summer camp with our own year-round dive operation, Sail Caribbean Divers. Full-time professional PADI instructors provide comprehensive dive education for our students.
Enjoy a perfect paradise. Caribbean summer weather is sunny, with water and air temps around 85 degrees, and constant cooling trade winds of 10-15 knots. Weather is monitored constantly.
