Our long-standing relationships with the local communities in the Caribbean, and our own year-round dive operation Sail Caribbean Divers headquartered at our base in Tortola, are a major source of pride.

Focusing on the Caribbean means we know the ins and outs of each island better. Mike Liese, our Founder and Director, spends the entire summer in the Caribbean, ensuring that our programs run smoothly. Our Cultural Director, Delly Harrigan, an islander and lifelong resident of the Caribbean who helped found Sail Caribbean 30 years ago, gives our staff and students a better understanding of the Caribbean way of life.
