We know their secret hiding places and we're going to take you to them. You leave your sailboat for a short dinghy ride to hop aboard Endeavour, one of our custom dive boats. While we're underway you're getting a detailed BVI site briefing - The Pinnacles in Brewers Bay, where enormous granite boulders form the backdrop and the crevices for an amazing variety of sea creatures. Soon, you and your buddies hover above three huge stingrays as they wing their way along the bottom. A turtle doesn't seem to mind at all as you glide alongside him. You find a lone nurse shark resting under a ledge and now it's studying you curiously. You're safe and happy to know that it only has lobster on its mind. It's another great day of diving at Sail Caribbean!

Sail Caribbean's scuba camps and sailing adventure camps for teens have been exploring the British Virgin and Leeward Islands for years, and our Charlie programs combine our sailing excellence with our knowledge of the underwater world. Both locations provide some of the finest sailing and diving conditions anywhere. You'll see the best of them, sailing onboard your 43-47' catamaran from one isolated island anchorage to another, where our professional dive staff will meet you to take your adventure even deeper. Even if you have no prior experience, you'll soon float effortlessly through a crystal-blue underwater world full of rainbow-colored fish, coral, and other exotic sea creatures. Add to that a variety of watersports and onshore activities and you have one of the most exhilarating and fulfilling island adventure programs you can possibly imagine.
Itinerary
There are actually two itineraries on our Charlie Programs - one above the waves and another beneath. You're never far away from an amazing diving opportunity. Sailing each day, you'll visit the most famous locations in the Caribbean, as well as some quiet hideaways where you'll see a side of the islands that only the locals know. Can you imagine a better way to travel toward your next dive site than to sail to it? After you've dropped anchor and hopped aboard our dive boat, you're ready to giant stride into amazing underwater sites.

Learning
These islands offer exceptional conditions for mastering both sailing and scuba diving. Together with your crewmates, you'll learn by doing. Our Charlie staff is there to teach and guide you, but it'll be your hands on the wheel and your muscles that grind the winches to trim the sails. Learning will come more naturally than you can imagine, and before long, you'll be sailing with confidence from one beautiful anchorage to the next.

And of course we know you're here to dive, so in addition to our traditional sailing curriculum, our Charlie program is a scuba camp focused on dive education. Through our PADI 5-Star Gold Palm IDC Resort, we offer scuba certifications and options for every level of diving interest, from those who have never even tried diving, to those who already have advanced certifications. Some BVI Charlie program students eagerly pursue multiple certifications; others choose to get certified and then enjoy recreational diving. Charlie Advanced students, with Advanced Open Water certifications and a minimum of 30 logged dives, can earn select Specialties during the program. The depth and strength of Sail Caribbean's dive staff and the versatility of our fleet of custom dive boats allow us to work with you at your own pace.

Optional Courses
The Caribbean waters offer spectacular conditions - visibility is excellent, water temperatures are in the 80s, surface conditions are smooth, and currents are minimal with virtually no surge. Since you will be immersed in this idyllic marine environment, it's also a great opportunity to learn more by taking advantage of our series of Marine Biology seminars.

Activities
The Charlie programs focus on scuba diving, though there's still enough time to explore the islands, meet the local people, and have some fun with your friends on the beach with a game of volleyball. For those who want to make waves with watersports, there's waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing and windsurfing. You and a buddy can take a kayak and explore a hidden cove. With community service, you'll also give a little back to the islands, and grow in the process, by working with local youth and restoring a bay to its natural beauty. Or, you might even take a break to stretch out on the beach and catch up on writing in your personal journal.
