Watersports
Snorkeling
Watch from the surface as the undersea world shimmers with action. Stingrays, pufferfish, whooshing schools of silversides, and even the odd diving pelican make appearances.
Kayaking
Perfect for coastline exploration or just paddle over to your friends on another boat in the fleet.
Windsurfing
Our BVI instructors will have you carving gybes across the bay in no time, or at least sailing across the anchorage.
Waterskiing and more
Power up behind one of our ski boats on skis, wakeboard, kneeboard, or tube.
Small Boat Sailing
Less is more, so trade your 50-footer for a sailing dinghy and get even closer to the water. Try a Laser, Hobie Cat, Vanguard 15, Hunter 216, or IC-24.
Sailing Clinics
Our staff includes internationally ranked dinghy racers, crewmembers of historic tall ships, and experts in every phase of sailing and navigation. In our sailing clinics, they share their knowledge of weather, satellite navigation with a GPS, racing tactics, the Americas Cup, and night sailing.
Community Service — On all Charlie programs (5-10 hours)
By participating in outdoor team-building and leadership activities, you'll help introduce local youth to the concept of fair play, individual achievement, team roles, problem-solving techniques and the importance of rules. We'll also add some fun with beach volleyball, lacrosse, football, and other sports. You may even learn to play cricket! Working side-by-side with local children and teens enables you to share your hobbies and interests and learn theirs through cultural presentation exchanges, meals, and sports! You'll even have a chance to fill them in on tales of your Sail Caribbean adventure.
You'll also do your part to restore coastal areas and parklands to pristine condition through our beach and trail sweeps. Learn more about Community Service
Marine Biology Seminars
The clear blue water, coral reefs, and rock formations of the British Virgin Islands are an expansive habitat for extraordinary sea creatures and plant life. Using our own marine biology curriculum, Fringing Reefs of the British Virgin Islands, our experienced staff lead in-depth studies with practical hands-on lessons. There is no prior experience necessary!

Explore the Islands
Since Columbus, explorers have been amazed by the natural beauty and variety of the Caribbean islands - you will be too. On Charlie programs, you'll hike through a rainforest on Tortola, climb to the top of Virgin Gorda, and scale the boulders at The Baths. You'll see why the islanders cherish this part of the world and meet its unique characters, born of a melting pot of cultures. You'll chat with friendly local people, and see what it's like to live in an island paradise.
Social Events
There's no shortage of opportunity to meet new people. At our teen scuba camps you'll be living on a sailboat with 11 other teens your own age, who quickly become family. We travel as a fleet, so when we go ashore you'll also meet the crews and staff from the other boats. During the day, the beach is alive with games and activity. As the sun goes down there could be a barbecue, we might hit a local restaurant for dinner, or dance at a beachside disco. To wrap it all up, your crew competes for honor and glory at the Sail Caribbean Olympics, a time-honored tradition that's a highlight of each voyage.
