Day 10 for the Alpha and Charlie fleet brought early morning showers, a yummy breakfast and a speedy departure from Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda. The fleet had a fantastic, breezy, sail over to Anegada that lasted about 4 hours.

As soon as the bridle was secured on the mooring ball, lunch was started and inhaled just as fast! A short dinghy ride to shore brought the crews to safari buses that transported them across Anegada, past the Flamingo Pond (a flock was spotted!), and to Loblolly Bay.

Everyone enjoyed the change of scenery, and was fascinated by a Sharks and Rays lesson delivered by one of our staff. After a long afternoon enjoying the bay and reef, another truck tour brought the fleet back to the dinghy dock where the crews were shuttled back to their home boats to have showers, start on dinner, and take shelter from the drizzle! A quiet night on board was the order of the evening. Even though it was rainy for parts of the day, it was still a great day to be in the Virgin Islands!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
