From Mountain Point to Bitter End
Today we woke up (not too early) realizing that “Lily Texas’ was going on a med runfor her ear. We said ‘see ya later’ and then ate a quick breakfast and left Mountain Point at 8:30 to start our sail toward The Bitter End.

We made great time on our way and where jamming to some music while watching SJ (the other boat in our fleet) further behind us (barely a competitor). When we made it to theĀ Bitter End, we got our phone back to call home, hungout and ate some great lunch. we also had the opportunity to sail 14foot Hobie CatsĀ and do watersports like tubing and wakeboarding.

After all this fun, we went on a hike, got back to the boat and ate some great Quesadillas prepared by Cole. Also we had some time to think about how lucky we are to be here.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
