Alpha 4, Charlie 3, Foxtrot 3 & Sierra 3: Day 9 – Long Bay and Trellis Bay

By wpdev August 19, 2021

Day 9

The morning sail from Anegada was beautiful. It was magical to see all five of the boats floating across the ocean.

Around lunch, the boats anchored at Long Bay Beach. Students who were not diving enjoyed swimming around their boats and tubing. The dive students either continued their dives or started their Open Water course.

Late afternoon the boats moved to Trellis Bay and picked up a mooring ball for the night. Many of the students snorkeled the shipwreck and played around on the lily pad. Every boat has started to get in its groove. The students love hanging out on the boat together. Hulk has been playing loads of chess. Moet played a game of telephone last night that had everyone laughing. Big T shared their rose, bud and thorn of the day at their boat meeting. Kajsa has adopted a flamingo floaty named Gordon. Judges Chambers have been in making tons of friendship bracelets.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
