Captain of Venture: Matthew
Mate: Annie
Navigator: Zack
After waking up at 7:20, Captain, mate and navigator went to the staff boat for a leadership meeting about challenge day! Challenge day is when we run every aspect of the boat and the staff step back. After we got back, we woke everyone else up and got the day going. We went to shore at Long Bay and dominated the 2014 Alpha 3 Olympics! After the events were over, we went on stand up paddle boards, kayaks and picos. once we were back on boats, we ate lunch and prepped for departure After lunch clean was over we pulled up the anchor and set sail. We circumnavigated Guana Island and went through the Scrub Island cut to head to Trellis bay. When we finally moored we had showers and headed ashore for dinner! We went back to boats and had a debriefing about how well we did on challenge day and things we can improve on!
Today we did a great job of sailing

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
