Captain of the Day: Brooke
Mate: Matt
Navigator: Alec
Port of Departure: Cooper Island
Final Destination: Salt Island
We woke up early and had breakfast. Right after that, the scuba divers practiced their confined water dives. Everyone else who wasn’t diving went snorkeling and learned about different fish species.

After that one group went to shore to Kayak and paddle board while the other group of non divers sailed on a 26 foot sailboat called Opal Bella. After about an hour the non diver groups switched activities.

The divers came back just in time for lunch. We had pita sandwiches which were so good! After lunch, the non divers went on Venture and sailed to Salt Island while the divers did the activities the non divers did in the morning. We all returned to our own boats when we were anchored at Salt. We took dingys to shore and hiked up Salt and heard the story of the wreck of the Rhone.

We went back to boats for dinner and had a fun night on board!
Today our crew did a great job of sailing Opal Bella!
We need to work on not letting our sails luff!
Quote of the day: “coola doola lemonade”

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
