Bravo 1 & Charlie 1 2015 – Day 9

written by student, Sophie Hawksworth, Brought to you by the crew of Galilee

Special report from Galilee’s Ship’s Log:

Today, the day started at 6a.m. for some people and 7a.m. for others. Reagan left at 7:30a.m. for her final keel boating lesson and then a ferry to her plane. Drew slept for over two hours in the salon and on shore. For lunch, Max made quesadillas. Alec helped with lunch, too. There was no diving today so we chilled on Bitter End Yacht Club. There were watersports, shopping and food. Gardner explored Bitten End Yacht Club.

Bruno met up with his cousins and went tubing on the paparazzi. Freddy relaxed and swam around the beach. Ryan learned how to tie a rolling hitch and rewarded himself with a hat from Saba Rock. Matt also bought a hat from Bitter End. Don got the chance to see his mom who was also in the British Virgin Islands. Curtis took people tubing and finished his medication for his ear infection! Sophie cleaned the fridges and the salon and made bracelets. Then, we learned about mangroves and did community service where we picked up trash around the trees.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
