Today, students woke up at Anegada after having completed an extraordinary Challenge Day the day before! Running off the positive steam of the successes the day before, it was another early morning so crews dropped the ball in their pj’s, munched on breakfast underway, and enjoyed a breezy morning sail over to Virgin Gorda.

As we approached our backdrop for the day, Oil Nut Bay, we passed through a breathtaking channel with beautiful mountains, rocks, and turquoise blue waters. Upon arrival to docks, we ferried over to the location’s resort with plans to bounce around the gorgeous island’s layout. Crews spent the afternoon swimming, trying their hand at sailing on Hobie cats, and spending time with friends under shady palm trees to relax from many active days in a row.

As all good days must come to a close at some point, we ferried back to home boats in the evening, showered, had dinner, cleaned, and held boat meeting. Everyone was exhausted after a day in the sun but excited a long afternoon sail to Cane Garden Bay tomorrow!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
