This morning, we slept in until a wild 7:30 a.m. because there was no scheduled morning dive for our students. We all got to enjoy breakfast together before dropping the ball at Trellis Bay. While under sail, students got to enjoy being together and working together to sail to Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor. VGYH is our second location during program where we would be on docks!

Meursault was the first boat on to have all lines fast on docks followed by Fermi, then finally Montlouis. While on shore, students got to call home and follow each other on every social media account imaginable 🙂 In the afternoon, our Rescue Divers got to finish the last of their scenarios, thus completing the skills set portion of their certification course!

Back at VGYH, students got to explore the shops and get some snacks at the restaurant and the grocery store. When our divers returned, they got to check in with home while dinner prep got underway. For dinner, students enjoyed barbecue chicken with pineapple and vegetables. After dinner, all of the students of our program got to hang out with each other on all of the boats, even with students on the Sierra and Foxtrot programs. Once everyone returned to their home boats, it was time for lights out and to get ready to head to Deadman’s tomorrow!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
