Charlie/ Bravo Day 13 : brought to you by the crew of Vivaldi

By wpdev July 5, 2014
We woke up at the lovely Hodges Creek Marina to start our day! The morning started with a good old power clean and breakfast. After we ate, we dove right into diving (pun intended).

Nico, Jorge, Arturo, Devon, and Aysha took part in a fantastical community cleanup where all of the Bravo students picked up garbage in mangroves just near the marina. We made sure to keep the British Virgin Islands clean and beautiful!

Patton and Christian acted as victims for their rescue diver certification. In the afternoon we went for a sail including an awesome de-docking and Vivaldi smoked all the other boats sailing upwind to the 4th of July party at Trellis Bay. Vivaldi got plenty of time in to tack and Aysha honed her skills in at the helm. The 4th of July party was explosive with a joyous reunion of all Sail Caribbean fleets!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
