Early Alpha Day 10: Brought to you by Sao Jorge

By wpdev June 17, 2014

We all woke up nice and early to get ready for a hearty breakfast. Shortly after, we went on a scuba diving adventure, exploring the Painted Walls and the Wreck of the Rhone dive sites.

The Rhone was an amazing experience, especially seeing a giant ship underwater in real life! We then arrived back to Hodges Creek Marina to prepare for our four hour sail to the Bitter End Yacht Club.

We were all tired from scuba diving but did not let that hinder our excitement for the sail, especially John!

Once we arrived in the North Sound, we all took some showers off the transom of the boat, overlooking the sunset. We then got dressed up for our dinner out on shore at Saba Rock. The dinner was outstanding and we were able to relax on the hammocks and couches while watching the World Cup. Everyone then came back from dinner and sat down for boat meeting.

It was an overall relaxed, yet adventurous, day!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
