Early Alpha Day 3: brought to you by the crew of J Phaurom

By wpdev June 10, 2014
The fleet, waking early with the sun, found a beautiful day in the BVI. Most of us continued with our discover scuba diving along with our open water scuba lessons. Others were able to snorkel, ski, and sail Opal Bella. Ellie took the helm of our 52-foot Harmony yacht during tacking practice while Ben and Miles worked our furling lines during sail setting. Cole, our navigator, looked over charts and our cruising guide to take the crew of JP from Cooper Island to Trellis Bay, Beef Island. Ben, our skipper, handled the helm well throughout the day, delegating jobs to many of us like any other good captain. As we close our eyes following a quiet and relaxing evening on shore, all of us look forward to another great day with Sail Caribbean.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
