Early Alpha Day 8: From the crew of Monet
Today was challenge day! The skipper, Chris, mate, Grayson, and navigator, Kayla, woke up at 6 o’clock to go to the staff boat for a meeting on the plans of the day.
We started from The Bight, on Norman Island, and circumnavigated the island to end up in Benures Bay with no help from the staff members.When we arrived, the divers went off for a dive and everyone else played in the water and sailed Opal Bella until shower time.
When the divers came back we prepped for dinner, ate amazing sloppy Joes, and had our boat meeting.
The boat meeting consisted of our challenge day debrief with our captain and mate. We had a great discussion about feedback and teamwork. We then got a good night’s rest for tomorrow’s busy schedule!
