After two days at the Bitter End Yacht Club, everyone was pretty tired from plenty of activities, so the campers slept in while the staff moved the boats from Bitter End to the Dogs this morning. Once we reached the Dogs, everyone had a hearty breakfast and went for a morning snorkel! We saw a baby shark, a spotted eagle ray, tons of coral, and many, many other species of fish and other creatures. It was an amazing snorkel, the best one we’ve had so far!

After our snorkel, the students sailed from the Dogs to Marina Cay. We had lunch, and then a nice relaxing afternoon. Students swam between boats and got a chance to see other friends from other crews and hang out. There were rotations for tubing on the water and the afternoon concluded with a coral lesson taught by our marine biology staff members. It was a great day full of friends, fun, and relaxation, exactly what everyone needed after two action packed days at Bitter End.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
