Today started with an early morning turtling and snorkel session. Afterwards we had yogurt, cereal, and bagels for breakfast and sent our Open Water students out on the Sail Caribbean dive boat to get in some action underwater. The rest of us then had a quick docking lesson and departed for Nanny Cay.

We did a points of sail lesson underway as we crossed the channel. We reexamined our docking lesson from earlier and planned how we would enter our slip and tie our dock lines. The students did a wonderful job docking for the first time.

Once on docks, we had a cleaning inspection and sent our fun divers to the dive boat. The students had some phone time and were able to go get ice cream and check out the shops. We had a volleyball tournament and time for the students to hang out on the beach.

We had delicious chicken curry for dinner and afterwards our fun divers got to go on a night dive. The remaining Sierra and Foxtrot students gathered on the bow of Ocean Sun and had a ukelele jam session and sang songs until the night divers got back. Students showered, we had a boat meeting, and went to bed. The students loved their day on docks and are excited for a day of water sports and beach time tomorrow!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
