All Sail Caribbean summer teen adventure programs incorporate community and environmental service projects because we are committed to giving back to those who give us so much.  Some of our programs offer up to 20-30 hours of community service opportunities to give back to the people and ecosystems of the British Virgin Islands!  But what about your own community at home?

October 27 is Make A Difference Day – the national day to help others!  It is so inspiring to know that on this particular day millions of people across the USA are actively working together to make our country a better place!

“We can choose to be affected by the world or we can choose to affect the world. ” Heidi Wills – Author

So take a moment to think about how you can affect your world – Think about the people, places and things in your own life that have made a positive impact on you.  Maybe even consider the things that you sometimes take for granted and volunteer or donate to an organization that helps others get the things they need to be more comfortable and happy.  The Make A Difference Day website has a great list of projects going on across the nation if you need some ideas to get started.  You can also

check with your school counselor or your city’s website for local events.

How will you make a difference this weekend?  Share your good deeds with us on Facebook and Twitter!  #MDDAY12

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
