The Bitter End to Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour (VGYH)

The day began at 7.15, with a breakfast buffet of cereal, bagels and yoghurt. After completing our daily pre-departure check we set sail for VGYH.

It was a really nice journey around mountain point. We arrived and had a delicious burrito lunch prepared by Ava and Reagan. The divers went for a fun dive and saw lots of cool creatures – including beautiful sea turtles, flatworms and lobsters!!! After dinner we enjoyed some free time and had a chance to call our parents, buy ice cream and hang out with our friends. The Charlie and Bravo fleet was also there so we had the chance to meet lots of new people!

Dinner was prepared by Oliver, and as a special treat it was breakfast for dinner, or BRINNER! Breakfast burritos and apple crumble were soo good! After brinner, some people went to the VISAR (Virgin Islands Search and Rescue) headquarters to get a tour and learn about the rescue work they do!

The divers then went for a night dive, and we all hung out with the other boats afterwards.

Today our crew did a great job of working as a team!

Quote of the Day: Where’s Zach

Miricle Moment: Night Dive

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
