By wpdev July 22, 2014

Day 8:
Captain of the Day of Geneve: Riley “Brave”
Mate: Shawn ‘Kid’
The Bight to Sopars Hole.
Today was a slower day for Sail Caribbean but just as fun! While some of us didn’t wake up on time to wake the rest of the boat we did our best as soon as we got up! The divers got up really early and went on an amazing dive in Angelfish reef and saw eels, turtles, stingrays and even a lionfish! The non-divers enjoyed a morning of sleep, water sports and snorkeling at the Indians. After our ships favorite lunch; Pizza bagels, we commanded the ship after many gibes and close encounters with Samba and flying fruit. Unfortunately after the day sailing and in the sun, some of us got  a little too much sun (sorry mom). However we quickly lathered up and aloe. We ended the night with an awesome birthday cake for Shawn who ate half of the cake by himself!
Today we did a great job of stealing blowup whales from other SC boats and eating dinner.
We need to work on communication, stealthier whales stealing techniques.
Quote of the day was ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAWN’
And our miracle moment was when the open water divers became certified!!!!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
