The crew awoke on anchor at George Dog Island. We prepared a breakfast buffet of cereals, yogurts, bagels, and toast! After we cleaned up breakfast, the crew began to deep clean the boat in preparation for a cleaning inspection when we were to dock at Oil Nut Bay.

Later in the morning, we donned our life jackets and raised our anchors, ready to head off on course for the North Sound, specifically Virgin Gorda. Underway, we enjoyed mac and cheese for lunch. The crew did an amazing job of traveling though a tough channel crossing between Prickly Pear and Estuia Island. Once through the channel, we prepared to dock at the beautiful Oil Nut Bay.

Once on docks, after passing our cleaning inspection, everyone went to the beach, splashed in the pool, and tested their sailing skills on Hobie Cats. Some even took a spin on our favorite Poparazzi! We all spent the afternoon having a wonderful time at the resort. Back on boats, we had a blast jumping off the docks and ocean showering in the clear blue waters of deep bay on Virgin Gorda.

The crew was ecstatic when they got to make pancakes for dinner and had a fun time eating “breakfast” at night. Afterwards, we met for our nightly boat meeting and learned that tomorrow is going to be Challenge Day! We all went to bed to get a good night sleep and prepare for the day ahead!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
