Today was Challenge day! Challenge day is when the students take over the boat for the day and are in charge of the schedule, cleaning, cooking and sailing nearly all on their own, with little to no help from their staff members. Tango started off the day with a breakfast  of champions so they could up anchor and get on their way. They left Mountain Point and headed towards White Bay on Guana Island.

After picking up a mooring ball at White Bay, they made a lunch of sandwiches and headed to shore for Olympics! For Olympics, they did a relay dizzy fender race, tug-a-war, burry your captain and a synchronized swimming routine. After this friendly competition, they headed back to the boat for some fun relaxing time of splashing around in the water. To start the evening, they had showers and started dinner preparation. Tango had a delicious dinner of tacos and ended the night with a boat meeting debriefing how Challenge day went!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
