Tango Day 8!

Today after everybody woke up and ate breakfast, we all took a short hike up a hill on Norman Island and found a helicopter pad where we hung out for a bit and enjoyed the view.

 

  Then we all jumped in the water, snacked, and played games at the beach. After, we all headed back to the boat and made lunch. After lunch, Jake led everyone in cleaning the boat which went really fast! Next, we snorkeled at “the caves” and everyone had a great time exploring around and seeing all the fish and coral that we learned about in Kate’s coral reef lesson.

  After we finished the snorkel, we came back to our boat to find that…GASP!!! Willy was gone!!! Will is an inflatable whale but he is also the best friend of the Tango crew. The Soxtrot program (who had a boat on a mooring ball next to us) had stolen him!

We were all determined to find Willy and retrieve him. Ryeen came up with some funny ways to retaliate as we brainstormed how we would get our revenge on Soxtrot! Next we began setting up for dinner as Jeremy sang some tunes to Lindley, one of the Soxtrot counselors and one of the open water diving instructors.
