Today, we were rudely awoken by the tail end of a tropical storm passing south of the BVIs. Rain came down on our hatches and winds jostled us awake, whistling over our heads. The poor weather didn’t get our spirits down, however. All the Charlie and Bravo students could be seen taking part in a collective cannonball contest! After the rain lessened up, we made our way ashore for a spot of shopping at Trellis Bay.

Our next destination for the day was Scrub Island, a beautiful resort with infinity pools and water slides alike. With students at the helm, we easily docked our boats and enjoyed the facilities that Scrub Island resort had to offer. We received more provisioning, and had some time to interact with the Delta program students who just got back from travelling down-island to St. Martin. The following day had an early rise for our sailors and divers alike so we hit the hay early.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
