Today, we woke up to a beautiful morning at Dead Man’s Bay. We all ate breakfast together before some of us went diving. Half of us went on a fun dive and some of us finished up some dive speciality courses we were signed up for. The diving was amazing and we saw some cool nurse sharks. The other half of us sailed to Great Harbour by circumnavigating around Peter Island. We made some DELICIOUS banana bread while sailing.

When we arrived, we did a wonderful job with a silent morning ball pickup and tying. We got to enjoy our banana bread with Nutella spread and had some great leftovers for lunch. After lunch, the Advanced Open Water students went to complete their wreck and peak performance buoyancy dives. The rest of us relaxed on the boats for a while and took in some beautiful sights from Great Harbour. We got to snorkel around Great Harbour where there were awesome corals, sea turtles, and sting rays. We also got some time to go wake boarding, wake skating, and go tubing on the paparazzi.

After the divers got back, we took showers and had a traditional American meal of sloppy joes. Right after dinner, the Advanced Open Water students and divers doing the night dive speciality went on their last night dive needed to complete their certifications! We had a great boat meeting getting to know each other a little more and ate some delicious mango cheesecake one of our staff members made for us. We were all exhausted from a long wonderful day and fell asleep pretty quickly after boat meeting excited to see what the next day had in store for us.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
