Today, the divers from Charlie got up extra early to start an adventurous day of recreational dives. After grabbing some hearty breakfast to fuel them for the fun, the divers got a truck tour from Sopper’s Hole in West End to Hodges Creek in East End where they got on the Sail Caribbean Divers’ dive boat. Some of the divers finished their deep dive speciality and Nitrox speciality while others had time to explore and just have fun. The rest of us had some time to sleep in and have a relaxed breakfast on the water.

We got an awesome surprise visit from some dolphins right before we were going to drop the ball at Soper’s Hole. After a beautiful sail, the fleet all met up in Little Harbour, where we did a great job med-anchoring to shore. We had some yummy hoagies for lunch and all went for a snorkel. It was the general consensus that this was by far our favorite spot that we have stayed to snorkel because there were lots of greenery to see right off the boat. We had a huge bait ball of minnows, tons of big tarpon, a huge snapper, some jacks, lots of sea turtles, stingrays, and urchins swimming all around us.

We had a great time playing in the water until we all met up on shore to explore Peter Island and explore some old ruins, having a nice hike around. When we were done with our hike, we got to do some gnarly water sporting and had time to relax on the boat. We ate an excellent chicken and vegetable stir fry for dinner and finished our chores for the day. After, we had a nice boat meeting where we reminisced about the last couple weeks and talked about how we would all promised to keep in touch! We had a super fun and long day and fell asleep exhausted from all the days activities.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
