Bravo 1 & Charlie 1 2015 – Day 18

Nearly every student spent the morning underwater today. Notably, it was Avery’s final dive. Those who stayed behind, including Adrianna and Jules, enjoyed participating in watersports. Divers returned relatively early, at 11:30a.m., and were able to help with lunch prep. After lunch we all up-anchored on our respective boats. Charlie was skipper of the day and led a beautiful up-anchor and sail.

The sail led our fleet from Mountain Point to Lee Bay. Dinner prep was punctuated by an old Sail Caribbean tradition – dress your staff for staff meeting night! Isabelle led the initiative while Adam took over the role of evening photographer. Sara and Alyssa were humorously dressed to mimic other staff, which wouldn’t have been at all possible without the make-up genius of Jade. Nic took the initiative with dinner, producing deliciousness for all.

As the end of the program looms ever closer, we decided to take full advantage of our ocean. A night-snorkel with bright dive flashlights allowed the crew to see underwater critters and creatures in a different light. James was the last out of the water and was rewarded with a real-life vision of a spotted moray eel. Upon our return to boats, Parker made hot chocolate for Rioja’s crew and they all settled down for the evening.
