Today, we all woke up a from our eventful day yesterday, completely satisfied with such a hard day’s work. We enjoyed a breakfast buffet of assorted treats, and after a quick clean up, the divers were off and the rest of us got ready to snorkel. Our non-divers swam over to the snorkel area of Diamond Reef and saw awe-inspiring sea life they were talking about for hours afterwards.

We headed back to our boats later and prepared our crews for a quick sail to White Bay on Guana Island. The voyage was short and sweet but it was great to feel the wind lead us to our destination with a visibly confident crew of student sailors heading our navigation and sail trim.

Once we picked up a mooring ball, the divers came back and we made a lunch of sandwich wraps. We then had the afternoon to relax and hang out with our crew mates who we’ve become so close to. We splashed around our boat, went on the wakeboard and danced the afternoon away to the beats of our various DJ’s of the day. We even got to swim to other boats and hang out with our other friends on various SC programs.

We all returned to our boats for ocean showers and to start making dinner. We enjoyed a family meal of sausage pesto pasta and then cleaned our boats till they sparkled. We had a hilarious boat meeting full of laughs and smiles and then turned in for the night under the stars.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
