We began the day early with a staff sail to Great Dog Island which is located next to Virgin Gorda. Once we picked up the mooring ball at Great Dog, our Open Water divers were picked up for either a fun dive or they began the training to become Advanced Open Water certified!

After the divers left, all of our non divers worked together to sail to Marina Cay. When all of our yachts arrived at Marina, students got to hang out and jump off the boat before our divers returned. When divers came back, they were all so excited to tell everyone about the amazing fish they saw at the dive site, the Chimneys; some of our students even saw a few sharks! Students were also so excited that they got to dive a plane wreck located right off the island Salt Dog.

We spent the rest of the afternoon snorkeling the reef at Marina and went tubing at Long Bay. Our Rescue Divers spent the afternoon on the beach at Long Bay continuing their training to become certified. When everyone returned home to their boats, students got to relax before boat showers and dinner prep. For dinner, students enjoyed pesto pasta with chicken and spinach. We ended the day with a boat meeting and a quiet night on board. Students went to bed eager to travel to Trellis Bay the next day!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
