Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Foxtrot, Sierra 2: Day 19 – Long Bay

Race and Olympics day! We woke up this morning at Trellis for many divers to go off for their final fun dive. Those of us who stayed started a race at 9:45 and all the boats were ready with sails raised for the countdown. After our quick race we anchored at Long Bay and awaited the start of the Olympics. 

Prior to the start of the Olympics, Delta made their reappearance on Mega and it was exciting for students to reconnect with their friends. After shuttles ashore all the students ran around with their flags and high spirit for the competition ahead. The Olympic Games included dizzy fender relay race, sand art, Tug of War, and synchronized swimming. 

In free time afterwards the students did some ASA Exams, sailed our Hobie Cats, and tubed/wakeboarded in the bay. After the Olympics and free time the fleet came together for a Barbecue dinner on the beach. By sundown everyone was tired and ready to go back to boats. Before bed students wrote their letters to self, took ASA written exams, and Crew Exams before an early bedtime to prepare for their next day at the Baths.
