Bravo, Charlie, Foxtrot, Sierra 1: Days 9 & 10 – Blunder Bay and Bitter End
Day 9:

Today campers woke up bright and early at 5:45 am to prepare to drop the mooring ball at The Bight by 6 am. The fleet enjoyed a calm trip to Cooper Island Beach Club as the sun cast a golden glow over the islands. After a successful mooring ball pickup, drivers went off to complete Advanced Open Water certifications and explore shipwrecks. Divers reported spotting a shark and a stingray! The rest of the crew headed to land at Cooper Island Beach Club to enjoy time shopping in the boutique, the local ice cream shop, and spending time with other boats on the beach. The campers also had the chance to sail in Colgates and go tubing around the mooring field.
Divers returned back to the boat to share tales of their underwater adventures over a sandwich buffet. Crews then set sail for Blunder Bay on Virgin Gorda. It was a beautiful day for a sail, with calmer winds than in the past week. Once all of the boats arrived at Blunder, campers began their daily ocean showers and many changed into their festive red, white, and blue outfits! Dinner consisted of hot dogs and hamburgers with sides of chips and fruit.
Once the boat was clean from the day, Mega fleet was united with Alpha fleet on land for a beach party! Campers enjoyed ordering sodas and island mocktails while getting to socialize with their friends and meet a whole new group of campers. Fast friendships formed as everyone watched the sunset on the beach and danced the night away as the DJ played. Campers returned to their respective boats for a quick boat meeting before winding down for the night. It was a fun day full of sunshine, sailing, and new friendships!

Day 10:

Today we woke up at 7:30 in Blunder Bay, rested up from the festivities of the previous night. After a breakfast buffet was served, the whole fleet went to The Dogs led by the skipper of the day Perry who was hesitant at first but ended up loving her position. Open water divers consisting of Sasha, Delaney, and Auggie were then sent off for their third day of certification and completed their first open water dives at The Chimneys and Shark Plano where campers saw sharks, turtles, and rays. Alli was especially excited for the shark spotting and came back into the boat full of smiles ready to share her sightings. The rest of the campers then spent the day relaxing on the boat surrounded by beautiful rock formations and equally beautiful coral formations below the surface. Will and Cristiana swam with moon jellyfish and enjoyed the crystal clear, teal waters. Myself, William, Will, Fiona, and Max from Altair then tried to teach Faraz how to backflip but with the impending storm coming we had to settle for a backflop after three attempts and lots of laughter.
After the divers returned to their boats, the whole fleet motored in beautiful weather to the Bitter End Yacht Club where campers were offered the opportunity to go tubing or wakeboarding off of a rib. Ethan swam over to Tonga to hangout with some of his newfound friends and enjoy time on a different boat. With all the campers in their boats for the night we started on salt water showers and dinner which was veggie fried rice. Will and Alli cooked our meal and we settled down for a boat meeting which consisted of hot seat and the schedule being read for the next day.
