This morning we woke up at Little Harbour, Jost van Dyke with an exciting morning ahead of us. Following delicious pancakes for breakfast whipped up by Ana and Jordan, the Waimea crew participated in the beloved fleet-wide activity, Dinghy Dares. Throughout the morning, the group ventured back and forth from Staff Boat collecting tasks and showing off their skills in various challenges. We completed riddles, cheffed up breakfast for the staff on Staff Boat, created a boat handshake, and even dressed up Mate Alex complete with full makeup. He loved it. After the morning events, we headed over to Sandy Cay for lunch and time ashore at the picturesque little island. The entire crew was so excited to spend time in the vibrant turquoise waters and on the bright white sand under palm trees. Following beach time, we came back aboard Waimea to motor over to Cane Garden Bay. Upon arrival, the group swam and joined in on some fun on Stella Blu. We finished off the laid-back, yet fun-filled, day with an amazing dinner of chicken fajitas made by Josie and Bryce and our usual evening boat meeting.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
