Chalpha Day 5

Brought to you by JP.

Today we woke up at 7:00. The Alpha and the Charlie went on an early morning dive at 8:30. While Robby, Jorge, Maddie, Parker, Tyler, and Daniel enjoyed their morning diving sessions, Angelica, Emily, and Alec had a wonderful time snorkeling. “It was truly and amazing experience.” After the three were done snorkeling, they traveled to the shore on Cooper Island. At shore, Angelica, Emily, and Alec enjoyed delicious native sorbet. Once everyone arrived by the boat, we enjoyed lunch and began to sail towards Drake’s Anchorage.

Sailing was very difficult for Angelica at first, but she found her sea legs and learned fast. The sailing trip was very peaceful and Emily even fell asleep on deck. Once we finally settled in, we showered and Robby fell over the boat after he changed and Parker intensely read his book for the rest of the night.
It was another amazing day in the British Virgin Islands.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
