Charlie/ Alpha Day 10: Brought to you by the crew of Venture

By wpdev August 16, 2014

We started the day off right, in Savannah Bay! We had a great breakfast made by Lucas and Michael and then the Charlie students went for a dive. It was a deep dive today so they saw some really cool creatures! Seth, Travis, Lucas, Drew, and Don were so tired after the dive they took an awesome nap under the sun! Mark spontaneously started a swimming relay race in which each boat had to swim a random item from the boat to Mark until he had everything. After the last item he called for, your captain in their polo, was brought over, everyone was given a juice or soda for their hard work! We then packed up and got ready for our sail to Trellis Bay. We raised our anchor and had a mini-race with the other boats, which was so much fun! Once we got to Trellis Bay, we took some showers and had dinner before heading to shore for a Fire Ball Party with all of Sail Caribbean! It was a lot of fun, especially socializing with other fleets. We ended the night with some cake and a stargaze!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
