Charlie and Bravo Day 12: From the crew of JP

By wpdev July 4, 2014

We woke up to an incredible rainstorm that had the entire fleet shaking! Then we went back to bed after the wind and rain subsided before Marina woke us up for our day at 7:00.

We had the usual hearty breakfast buffet before Sam, Heather, Henry A., and Connor went to the VISAR headquarters for some Emergency First Responder training.

Lucila, Jackie, Reagan, Steph, Henry F., and Tyler had lunch on the boat after sailing from Marina Cay over to Hodges Creek where we Lucila had an amazing docking while at the helm.

We then had a cleaning inspection and passed on the first try! After that, the JP crew went on a truck tour of the island, which was an incredible drive through some winding roads leading up to some delicious ice cream! Then we came back, had some dinner, and the Charlie students went on a night dive!

It was a great day, overall, and we cannot wait to see what tomorrow will bring!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
