By wpdev July 9, 2014

This morning all of the Bravo and Charlie divers went out for a couple of dives while James and Mateo worked on their basic keelboat certifications and the rest of us snorkeled  around and saw some really unique fish and coral. We also learned about navigation around the Islands!

After the divers returned, we had lunch together on the boats. We then raised our anchor and sailed off to the beautiful Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour. The sail was great! Andrew, Avery, and Ian fine-tuned their skills on the helm and everyone helped out to ensure that our docking went smoothly, It went flawlessly!

With a tricky slip, Ian kept his cool and docked us well. We all enjoyed land showers and dinner made by Westin and Michael before hanging out and eating dessert at a nearby restaurant. We then had our boat meeting and brushed our teeth before heading to sleep. It was a great day, and we were exhausted!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
