It was a very unique morning for the Delta crew. Most of us woke up to watch the sunrise as we were approaching St. Martin. We all had so much fun during the overnight sail from Leverick! We all took shifts sailing, plotting our coordinates and communicating between each crew on our two vessels. Students were up to the challenge and they all did amazing on their shifts!

We reached St. Martin and everyone relaxed after such a long night’s voyage. After we felt refreshed, we were eager to head to shore to explore. Once ashore, everyone explored the shops and walked up to the fortress that over looks the island. After exploring, we all headed to La Main A La Pate for dinner to celebrate reaching our down island destination. Students went to bed eager to travel to St. Barth’s in the morning!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
