We began the morning at St. Martin ready to go on an adventurous sail down to St. Barth’s. After 5 hours dancing in the wind, we arrived at our first destination, il Forchue. Il Forchue is an uninhabited island off the coast of St. Barth’s.

Once we picked up mooring balls, we snorkeled the coast line and headed up to one of the peaks for a hike. On the snorkel, we saw a ton of fish including an albino fish and trumpet fish!

Once everyone was back to boats in the afternoon, it was time to head to Gustavia, St. Barth’s. It was a short sail before we prepared our boats for docking. Each boat safely arrived to the dock, and once we were all checked in with customs, we enjoyed the shops and walked along the dock to check out all the other beautiful yachts. When it was time for bed, everyone was eager for the Fourth of July and all the festivities we had planned tomorrow!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
