Today, we found ourselves anchored in the bay of Isle Fourchue, surrounded by cresting hills. Another 6a.m. wake up and we raised anchor and headed towards St. Barths, raising sails as we go. We arrived in St Barths, anchoring outside the marina. Once we were settled into our anchorage, we shuttled to shore and meandered about the town, getting a feel for the place.
As the students headed to the shops to get ice cream and sodas, the staff headed to pick up our rental cars for the day! After an impromptu upgrade, we ended up with two Mini Cooper convertibles, which we happily took to explore the island. We all headed to the beach where we were greeted with beautiful scenery, a restaurant and a cliff jumping spot. We took turns heading out for island tours in the convertibles, heading up the hills to some incredible viewing spots. Between tours, the rest of us relaxed out on the beach, and swam to the cliff jumping spot, where we took the plunge from as high as 15 feet!
After lots of fun on the beach, we headed back to town for a final trip to the shops to resupply, before shuttling back to the boats and cooking dinner. After dinner we hung out, chatting about our day, before falling into bed, exhausted by another day in the Caribbean.
