The morning of Day 13 found our crew moored at the island of Nevis. After a quick breakfast, we jumped right into preparing for a full day ashore. Lunches packed and Nalgenes full, we dinghied to land.

Once all on the beach, we headed to a local bike rental shop and set up each crew member with a bike and helmet. We then set off as a pack to explore Nevis. The gorgeous ocean views and lush green vistas kept us occupied on the hour long cycle into Charlestown. In town, we stumbled upon a local fruit festival where the crew enjoyed food from stands and music in the town square.

After our time in town, we got back on our bikes and started back to the rental spot. Bikes returned, the group then had some time to chill out on the beach and swim. As the afternoon came to a close, we all gathered our things and dinghied back to the boat for showers and a delicious dinner of stuffed mushrooms. The evening ended with a hangout in the salon and boat meeting, after which we all went to bed, resting up for the day to come.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
