We awoke to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean with the picturesque backdrop of Little Harbour behind us. Our talented breakfast chefs of the day whipped up delicious pancakes which we finished with ease. We were then lead by our skippers of the day to up-anchor before setting off on our next adventure.

We are forever improving on our sailing skills, so during this sail, we learned how to properly sail downwind. Many successful jibes were conducted. After learning about downwind sailing, lessons on points of sail and right of way we taught. We then arrived at our next destination, Pirate’s Bight on Norman Island, where our divers enjoyed some more amazing diving while the others enjoyed the pristine underwater world with some snorkeling at the Indians.

The evening proved to be just as much fun as day activities! After a dinner of sloppy joes, we all dinghied to shore for a social with the students on the other boats. On shore, we did a few team building activities and students had the opportunity to buy fruity virgin daiquiris and piƱa colada. The crews then returned to their boats for a night of good sleep in their cabins and hammocks!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
