Day 18 was an awesome day! The divers were off docks at an bright and early 6:30a.m. departure time for specialty diving, both shark dives and wreck penetration! The rest of the crews stayed on docks at Scrub Island to have a little longer of a lie-in. We enjoyed a big breakfast buffet. Once we digested and cleaned up our vessels some, we had time to play in the pool at Scrub  Island Resort and check out the shops before de-docking.

We enjoyed a smooth broad reach sail downwind, ultimately ending up at our destination for the afternoon, the mooring field of Great Harbour, Peter Island at roughly noon. Everyone enjoyed Greek pita sandwiches for lunch.

It wasn’t long before we all jumped in the water to enjoy snorkeling the bay in search of sea turtles and did multiple rounds of watersporting.

At 4:30p.m., we had showers and prepared a delicious chicken stir fry for dinner. The divers later participated in a night dive in Great Harbour, too! We spent a quiet evening on board writing future letters-to-self which will be sent to us in the winter holidays. Lights out and all was quiet for a restful sleep!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
