Foxtrot and Sierra Day 15

By wpdev July 6, 2014

Trellis to Cane Garden Bay

Captain of Samba: Kristen

Mate: Madison

Everyone awoke at 7:30 for a breakfast buffet, and we dropped the ball at about 8:45. After our longest sail yet (11.6 nautical miles), we ate lunch and then turtle watched for an hour. There was a baby nurse shark that everyone got to see, but unfortunately no one saw a sea turtle. It rained a lot today, and it continues to rain, so the crew is getting a lot of bonding time while everyone chills on the boat and listens to Steel Pulse playing on shore.

Today our crew did a great job of cleaning and having fun on a rainy day and the miracle moment was when the sun came out for an hour or two!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
