Foxtrot Departure Day

By wpdev August 18, 2014

Brought to you by the staff.

Today it was an early rise for the students and staff, greeted by one last heavy rain storm. With some clothes still sopping wet, the students made it to their taxi to depart for St Thomas. It was sad to say farewell after getting spending an amazing two weeks exploring the Caribbean with such great people.

The students have grown so much as individuals and even more as a crew and as friends.  Although it was only two weeks, they have all shared memories and experiences that they can carry into the future and cherish for a lifetime.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
