Foxtrot & Sierra Day 20

By wpdev July 11, 2014

This morning we scrubbed the boat clean at Cooper Island. We also packed. Everyone was turtleing, it was our last chance to catch one. Jen and Ish both caught one!! Ish named his “Samba”, and Jen named hers “Mazurka”.

We left cooper island around 1:30 pm. When we got to Hodges, we cleaned up more and packed more. After our boat was sparkling clean we got our phones to call home and took showers.

At 7:00 we did our skits – They were so good and funny! After skits we had awards. Mazurka got first place in the Tug-a-War and best chili in the chili cookoff!! We then had our very last boat meeting

Quote of the Day: “I just went for a 20 mile run, it was my warm-up.”

Miracle Moment: Skits by students and staff

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
