Another day for the books. While today was not spent underway, we had a full day of diving, exploring, and other activities. The morning came and pancakes were on the menu so while the divers were racing on to the dingy they had a quick plate to fill their tummy and off they went. The open water divers spent the entire day doing their confined dives while the advanced open waters and fun divers spent the morning diving but came back for some afternoon water sports and shore time at Cooper Island Beach Club. Campers enjoyed visiting the boutique, ordering yummy ice cream, relaxing at the beach, and sailing in a Colgate. As the sun began to set, boat showers happened and dinner prep quickly followed. The kids cooked up a storm to serve up BBQ chicken like a bunch of pro’s. The advanced open water and fun divers were then heading ashore to jump on the dive boat for a wonderful night dive at Thumb Rock where they saw lobsters, crabs, rays, octopus, squids, jellyfish and plenty of other fish. With the highs of a day full of activities and bonding time, boat meeting was accompanied by tired eyes and sun kissed cheeks that only mean one thing – a solid day at sail Caribbean in the BVI’s. 🙂

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
