Today the fleet woke up at the beautiful Cooper Island. The sun danced on the sparkling water as campers prepared breakfast and got ready to go diving. Divers then loaded onto the dive boat and the rest of the crew completed pre-departure checks to ensure that their vessels were ready to set sail. Boats dropped the mooring ball at Cooper and set sail for The Bight on Norman Island. After a lovely sail, the fleet arrived on Norman and Sierra and Foxtrot students took a trip over The Indians, a rock formation off the coast of the island known for its incredible snorkeling and vibrant marine life. The students had a marine biology lesson before hopping in the water and experiencing the ecosystem for themselves. The crews returned to their boats and enjoyed splashing around in the ocean before taking showers and beginning dinner prep. The crews then did their daily boat clean and had boat meeting which included games, hot seats (where campers share about themselves and answer questions from their crew), and cookies! Another successful day!

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
