Day 12

Captain of the Day of Isandra: Max
Mate: Oliver
Navigator: Olivia
Dead Man’s to Hodges Creek

In the Morning we had bacon and eggs for breakfast before the divers Max, Elliot, Oliver, Delaney , Jack and Hill went for an early 8am dive to start off the day.
On the dive they saw a lot of really cool things including a sand shark, a few turtles and they even got to explore the wreck of the Rhone. The remaining people on the boat sailed from Dead Mans to Hodges creek Marina. It was really windy so the sails had to be reefed so they wouldn’t rip. After just over two hours of intense sailing, Isandra finally made it to Hodges.

Upon the divers return, all of the new food was loaded onto the boats making everyone really happy. At 6:45 the same divers from earlier that day went on a night dive and it was amazing!! The divers returned slightly cold but still joined everyone for a delicious ice cream social.
Our crew did a great job of docking the boat.
We need to work on boat cleanliness.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
