Today, we woke up to a beautiful morning in Little Harbor on Peter Island. Our divers departed shortly after a hearty breakfast, headed off to complete their first open water dive!
The rest of the crew readied themselves to raise the anchor and depart from the beautiful little cove. We all practiced our downwind sailing skills and safety as we moved with the wind to our next destination, the Pirate’s Bight on Norman Island.
At Norman, the divers rejoined the boats for a lunch of chicken Caesar wraps. Afterwards, our Discover Scuba Diving students joined the Open Waters for an afternoon of underwater skills.
Our non-divers spent the afternoon at the popular snorkeling site, The Caves — a site at the entrance to the Bight that is home to countless caves, fish, and marine life!
Afterwards, everyone returned to boats for ocean showers before we shuttled to shore for a sunset hike. As a group, we climbed the peaks of Norman to a helipad where we played games like “Oh Captain, My Captain!” We descended the mountain as the sun set and ate an amazing dinner of pasta carbonara back on the boat.
By the time the stars came out, the whole crew was ready to settle in for a quiet night on board.

The greatest challenge during the program was staying entertained during the quarantine period. Not being able to leave your boat and not having a phone, which was a crutch against boredom, it was difficult at first to stay entertained.
